Rodney Snow is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Southern College in 1993 and earned his Masters of Science from the University of South Florida College of Nursing in 2002. Before joining Lakeside Pediatrics, Rodney completed a four-month Migrant Healthcare Fellowship sponsored by the National Rural Health Association, working in a community health center in Zephyrhills, FL. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Rodney worked in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Lakeland Regional Health for over 14 years. Before his career in Nursing, he was a Peace Corps Volunteer, serving two and a half years in Zaire, Africa, introducing apiculture to local farmers. In addition to his nursing education, Rodney has four years of undergraduate study in Zoology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and the University of South Florida. His wife is also a Family Nurse Practitioner and they enjoy staying at home with their animals.
