Dr. Harrison received her undergraduate degree from Spelman College in Atlanta and attended medical school at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in North Carolina. She completed her internship and residency at University of Florida College of Medicine where she acted as Chief Pediatric Resident. Dr. Harrison’s motto is “To whom much is given, much is required”. As a result, she devotes her free time to community service initiatives in support of children and families, and is passionate about ensuring that quality care is accessible to all. Dr. Harrison grew up in Cary, NC, and enjoys traveling, music, and the performing arts. Dr. Harrison is currently serving as Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Lakeland Regional Health and she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
